Goalkeeper, Thela Ngobeni has said that he is not fazed by the reports in the media linking him away from Naturena at the end of the current season.
The East Rand born goalkeeper who was no. 1 choice during the under 20 World Cup in 2009 has made one official appearance for the Club since being promoted from the Development.
“I have been doing well at training since my recovery from injury. I always push myself hard and this has not changed since the reports surfaced,” said Ngobeni speaking to kaizerchiefs.com after a gruelling session at Kaizer Chiefs Village, Naturena.
“I am going to continue to give my best in training. Goalkeeper Coach Rainer Dinkelacker is pushing me hard as he has been in the past couple of years. I am grateful for the support that I have been getting from him, the goalkeepers and everyone associated with the team.
“The next four months are very important for us as we want to challenge for the Absa Premiership and the Nedbank Cup. This is a vision that unifies us at Chiefs to win trophies,” added Ngobeni.
