South Africa coach Gordon Igesund has kept to the players who started and defeated Angola during Bafana Bafana’s second group game of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, for their third and final group game against Morocco in Durban on Sunday, 27 January 2013 evening.

Bafana Bafana head into the clash with the Atlas Lions having the knowledge in hand that a draw will be enough to see them progress to the ¼ Finals for the first time since 2002, having failed to do so in 2004, 2006 and 2008, the three Chiefs players Itumeleng Khune, Bernard Parker and Tsepo Masilela who started that game against Angola are once again in the game day eleve.

For Khune and Parker it’s their third start of the tournament while Masilela who replaced Thabo Matlaba in the win over Angola starts his second game, Bafana will be hoping the statistical advantage hold over the Atlas Lions remains in-tact as they are undefeated in three previous Afcon meetings against Morocco having won two of those.

Morocco need a win but could progress with a draw should the other Group A game between Angola and Cape Verde end in their favour, Itumeleng Khune will be targeting a third clean sheet in what will be his fourth in a row, should he go unbeaten he will become the first Bafana Bafana goalkeeper to go unbeaten through the group stages of a major tournament.
