Midfielder Siphiwe ‘Shabba’ Tshabalala returned to the Club this morning happy with the role he played at Bafana Bafana during the Fifa week. ‘Shabba’ was in the Bafana Bafana squad that played against Swaziland in Swaziland last Friday and against Spain at the FNB Stadium in South Africa on Tuesday night. The midfielder was grateful to reach his 85th Cap for Bafana Bafana but vowed to make an immediate switch over to the Club.

“I would like to put the National Team week behind and prepare for the TKO semifinal against Platinum Stars. This is going to be a big game. We are preparing to play and do well against them. This, to us, is like the final before the final. It is about a collective effort at Chiefs; said ‘Shabba’, speaking to kaizerchiefs.com after reuniting with his teammates at the Amakhosi HQ this morning.

‘Shabba’, further expressed his happiness for the role he is playing in the National Team at the moment; “I am happy to be part of the National setup. It is good to see young players coming up. It shows that SA has talent and that should auger well for the future.”

Kaizer Chiefs take on Platinum Stars this Saturday, 23 November 2013. The TKO Semifinal game will be played at the FNB Stadium. Kickoff is at 20:15.

Tickets are available at Computicket and Shoprite Checkers countrywide at R40 for adults and R10 for children under the age of 12.
