Kaizer Chiefs will be without left back Jimmy Jambo and George Lebese when they take the field against Mamelodi Sundowns in a highly anticipated MTN8 quarterfinals this weekend as both players have been ruled out for three weeks Team Physio, Dave Milner has revealed to kaizerchiefs.com



The two players were both substituted during the pulsating Carling Black Label encounter which took place on July 28, 2012 at a packed Soccer City Sports Complex between Soweto giants, Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates over the weekend. Kaizer Chiefs lost the match 5-4 on penalties.



“Jambo left minimally displaced nasal bone fracture seen on CT scan while Lebese is out with a knee injury,” said Milner on Monday evening. Furthermore, Bernard Parker also got a knock in the same match and will be under observation this week to determine the extent of his injury.



Siphiwe Tshabalala is still nursing an injury sustained during Gauteng Sports Challenge while Jimmy Tau remains on the side-lines from the injury sustained at the end of 2011/2012 PSL season.
