Jimmy Jambo has started his long road to recovery with jogging, Kaizer Chiefs physio Dave Milner revealed to kaizerchiefs.com today.
‘Jambo Jet’ injured his knee after colliding with former Club and Zimbabwean international teammate, Tinashe Nengomasha of Bidvest Wits in the first round of Telkom Knockout back in October last year. The initial diagnosis indicated that the player will be out of action for a period of a year.
“Jimmy is progressing nicely,” said Milner.
Other good news coming from the camp is that George Lebese has started running and will see the Specialist this afternoon to determine his prognosis.
Lehlohonolo ‘Wagga-Wagga’ Majoro is also jogging as part of a rehabilitation programme and treatment after injuring his ankle against Bidvest Wits.
Mathew Rusike, who injured his thigh against Chippa United will see a doctor again on Thursday, “He will be out for six weeks but we expect him to start rehabilitation next week,” added Milner.
