Reach for a Dream youngster - Khakha 17-year-old - suffers from cancer and his dream has always been to meet his favourite club - Kaizer Chiefs - in person. His dream became a reality on Tuesday when he was invited to meet the team ahead of the Spurs game.
Amakhosi along with Reach for a Dream volunteers Natalie and Tracey made arrangements for Khakha together with his cousin Bongani to meet the players. Moreover they were hosted in the Kaizer Chiefs suite on match day and had the opportunity to have breakfast with the players the following morning.
Khakha was presented with a replica jersey and a bag of goodies, which was given to him by his favorite player, Jabu Pule. After receiving the jersey and meeting all the players personally Khakha had his jersey autographed and his dream came true.
It was wonderful for all at Chiefs to meet such a young, strong and positive boy. Khakha’s passion for soccer translates to on the field as well as he is also a soccer player. He is a striker and has played for the Cape Town provincial team.
All at Kaizer Chiefs wish him all the best and a speedy recovery so that he can join the Chiefs squad ASAP.
Thank you for the Reach for the Dream Foundation and we would like to congratulate them on a job well done, what they do to make children's dreams come true is remarkable.
