Kaizer Chiefs returns to the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane for the potential thrilling ABSA Premiership encounter against Golden Arrows on Wednesday, 28 September 2011.

The game against Golden Arrows is the first for the Glamour Boys in Polokwane this season and the last time the team played there Ajax Cape Town left with their tails between their legs following a comprehensive 4-0 drubbing towards the end of last season.

The team returned to training at Club’s HQ in Naturena on Monday morning following a draw away at Seisa Ramabodu Stadium on Saturday.

Football Manager, Bobby Motaung welcomed the return to Polokwane; “We were unlucky not to win the game last Saturday in Bloemfontein. We have now put that game behind us and we all looking forward in welcoming Golden Arrows at Peter Mokaba. The vibe at the Stadium is always positive and this rubs off the players.

Marketing Director Jessica Motaung was equally upbeat about the game going to Polokwane. “We are delighted to bring our brand to the people with the hope of maximizing supporter attendance. Playing at Peter Mokaba Stadium is in line with our objectives to take the brand to people. The response from the people of Polokwane has been good and despite being the first time hosting a league game there on Wednesday there has been demand for the tickets from our supporters.

Billed for a 19:30 kick-off, ticket sales are flying out of Computicket at Shoprite Checkers at R40 for adults and R10 for children.

DJ Tokzen will spin the disks to make sure that everyone is entertained before kickoff and at half time. Join us for the give aways and lots of fun.
