After securing an important victory against Stellenbosch FC in their last league match in Cape Town on Friday, Kaizer Chiefs are now turning their attention to the Nedbank Cup, where the team is set to face Chippa United in the round of 16 this coming weekend.

This all-Premiership encounter between Amakhosi and the Chilli Boys is one of the standout fixtures of the round, with Chiefs enjoying a second consecutive home draw in this year’s competition.

In the round of 32 stage, Chiefs faced Free Agents, a team from the second division of South African football, winning decisively with a score of 4-0 just over a fortnight ago.

This will be the second meeting between Chiefs and Chippa this season, following their encounter in late December at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban, in which Amakhosi secured all three points after winning 1-0.
