The function was attended by Sir Bobby Charlton, Sir Alex Ferguson, Ruud Van Nistlerooy and Darren Fletcher of Manchester United.
The Kaizer Chiefs U-15 team were the last team to be drawn, and were placed in Group D along with FC Koln (Germany), FC Internazionale (Italy), Yongin FC (Korea) and Club Deportivo Estudiante (Colombia).
Group C has been identified as the toughest group, comprising the dominant Brazilians SC Corinthians Paulista, Manchester City (UK), FC Barcelona, Atlas FC (Mexico) and Chonburi Sports Association (Thailand).
The games kick-off this morning (Monday) at 09h00. Kaizer Chiefs play their first
game against FC Koln at 11h30 and against Club Deportivo Estudiante at 16h30 (UK time).
Other highlights of the team’s trip to date include a sightseeing trip to
the city of Chester on Saturday and team training at Carrington Road, the
impressive training ground of Manchester United, on Sunday morning.
