Kaizer Chiefs are aiming to reach their first Nedbank Cup final since 2006



Kaizer Chiefs last won the Nedbank Cup in 2006 when it was still known as the Absa Cup



This is the furthest Kaizer Chiefs have gone in the Nedbank Cup since 2006



Kaizer Chiefs are aiming to reach their 18th Nedbank Cup final, they first got to the final in 1971



Should Kaizer Chiefs reach the final it will be their fourth Nedbank Cup Final in the PSL era, they were in the final in 1998-99, 1999-2000 and 2005-06



Should Kaizer Chiefs reach the final they would have going back to 2001-02 for the 12th consecutive season reached a Cup Final



Chiefs last had a chance to win the league and the Nedbank Cup in the same season in 1998-99 they lost both titles in the space of a few days losing in the Cup Final to SuperSport on May 29 and then missing out on goal difference on the league title

Kaizer Chiefs are yet to concede a goal in the tournament so far their results have gone 3-0, 2-0 and 1-0 with wins over BIDVest Wits, Polokwane City and Bloemfontein Celtic



In 1998-99 Chiefs faced a non-psl side Bloemfontein Young Tigers in the Semifinals of the Nedbank Cup, when it was still known as the BOB Save Super Bowl
