Kaizer Chiefs Reserves are winners of the Monday Gauteng League 12/13, PSL confirmed on Monday, 20 May 2013.

Amakhosi Reserves became the league winners in a eight team league featuring Gauteng based PSL sides and one NFD side: 1 Kaizer Chiefs, 2 Orlando Pirates, 3 University of Pretoria, 4 Mamelodi Sundowns, 5 Jomo Cosmos (NFD), 6 SuperSport United, 7 Moroka Swallows, 8 Bidvest Wits.

In the process Chiefs Reserves were awarded six points and six goals after two of their opponents forfeited their points for not honouring their fixtures against Chiefs.

The Donald ‘Didi’ Khuse tutored team in cooperation with the entire Chiefs football programme, Management, Board of Directors, operational systems, the supporters and the Executive Chairman Kaizer Motaung will be happy with the fruits of their action. Uppermost for Chiefs after triumph will be the contribution that the Reserve League enabled the Glamour Boys first team to clinch the 2012/13 ABSA Premiership Championship after eight years of league medals dry spell.
