For you to be selected to participate in the Peace Cup in the first instance is a sign of true pedigree and an achievement in itself. The selection was based on a heritage of success and the strength of this omnipotent brand called Kaizer Chiefs.
But what makes me even more proud is the aura that surrounds you.
Your professionalism never ceases to amaze me. You carried yourselves in Korea like true African Royalty.
I am sure that this trip has built strong camaraderie amongst you, given the entire squad went across to Korea. This valuable spirit is what is going to differentiate you guys from other clubs in South Africa.
The experience you’ve gained of playing in World Cup Stadiums and in front of Foreign Eastern crowds are invaluable, this value too, will make you a stronger team, emotionally.
As each game was played, one could clearly see a marked improvement, if this is anything to go by, I look forward to seeing you in action when you come back home.
You won the Fair Play award in true "Love & Peace" Spirit.
On the whole, Amakhosi, you have made me proud. I hold my cards up high with pride. I emblazon the Chiefs sticker on my car with dignity. I wear my clothes with self-respect.
I am a Khosi-4-Life and I am proud!
Love and Peace!
