Striker, Kaizer Motaung JR has backed the Club to bounce back to winning ways when they take on Moroka Swallows in what promises to be an exhilarating clash at Dobsonville Stadium on Wednesday night.

Kaizer, who was handed the captain’s armband against Celtic in the Macufe Cup, showed glimpses of his old self and also forced a save last weekend when he was introduced as a second half substitute against Platinum Stars.

“I have had an injury free season since the preseason and have been working hard at training waiting for my chance to contribute to the success of the team,” said Kaizer JR speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday morning.

Chiefs are yet to win a game in the month of October despite lying on 4th position on the log, “The loss against Orlando Pirates was a major setback for us. It is always tough when we lose against Pirates but we have now moved on,”

The game against Swallows, the Soweto derby presents us with an opportunity to regain our momentum in the league. Swallows have not done well in the league but we know that they are going to come with all guns blazing come Wednesday,” continued the player affectionately known as ‘Anelka’.

The Club’s jersey no. 7 also called the fans to continue rallying behind the Club, “as players we realize that we have to give our best when we step onto the pitch. The supporters have been great this season and all I would like to say to them is that they should continue cheering us on. I have no doubt that we are going to return to our winning ways soon,” added Motaung.
