Willard ‘Cheese & Onion’ Katsande is refusing to get carried away ahead of the potential Titanic battle with the Soweto neighbours, Moroka Swallows at Soccer City Complex on Tuesday, 20 November 2012 (Kick-off 19:30).

The Zimbabwean midfielder has done well this season everytime he has been called up by the Coach to do business for the team. He was on song as the Glamour Boys pushed SuperSport United aside last Saturday.

“I do not want to see the season ending without us winning the trophy. We are targeting both the Premiership and the Nedbank Cup. This has been my motivation coming to this season.

“It was painful when we did not win anything last season. We know that we have not achieved anything this season and we continue to take it one game at a time. This has been our approach. Yes, we have set clear targets but to achieve those targets you need to win the next game.

Katsande paid tribute to Head Coach, Stuart Baxter for showing belief in him; “The Coach told me to continue working hard and grab the chance when I get an opportunity to play for the team. He told me to keep it simple and continue to work hard. I would like to thank him for his belief not only in me but the whole squad.

“I lost my brother Alfred (16) a few weeks ago and the support I got from the Club was amazing. I would like to thank everyone for the support they have given to our family.

“I am enjoying my football at Chiefs and I want to win trophies with the Club. I am going to continue working hard and keeping my feet on the ground,” added Katsande.
