Kaizer Chiefs supporter and KC DigiStore shopper Omphile Thabane received a special delivery on Thursday when Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune and the KC DigiStore crew paid him a visit to deliver his goods ordered online.
Thabane is an ardent online shopper and enjoys the hassle-free convenience of shopping in this fashion. This is the third occasion he purchased items from the KC DigiStore since the club launched the platform in August 2015.
“I was expecting a courier service to deliver my order and it was surreal when I saw my favourite Chiefs player Khune bring the order,” says Tshabane. “This is world class service with a difference and that’s also what sets Amakhosi apart from other clubs.”
The delivery was made during lunchtime at Tshabane’s workplace in Centurion, Gauteng, the day after his birthday. For the lifelong Amakhosi supporter, the special delivery was the best birthday gift ever.
“I prefer making online purchases because it is an easy, safe and convenient way of shopping. I urge all Amakhosi to make use of the service and enjoy the benefits,” he adds.
Tshabane offered a word of advice to his fellow supporters by calling for their patience, while Chiefs strive to regain top form. He firmly believes things will soon turn around and the team will be back to achieving the type of success they have become used to.
This is the second of the KC DigiStore’s special deliveries, following on from George Lebese’s delivery of a jersey to Langa resident Phemezo Panyeko when the team played in Cape Town in December.
The KC DigiStore is available at www.kcdigistore.com and supporters are urged to make use of this service to stand a chance of having their parcel delivered by a Kaizer Chiefs player or official.
