Lucky Khune will miss the MTN8 quarter final encounter against Bidvest Wits after picking up an ankle injury on Saturday against Orlando Pirates. Team Physio, Dave Milner confirmed to kaizerchiefs.com on Wednesday afternoon.

Khune affectionately known to Chiefs faithful as ‘KAKA’ had to be replaced late in the first half, “It is not a bad injury and we expect Lucky to be back at training in a week or two,” said Milner.

Meanwhile Milner also revealed that both George Lebese and Reneilwe Letsholonyane have had scans on their respective knees and they are now undergoing extensive rehabilitation and treatment.

The two players had to be substituted as well against Orlando Pirates in the inaugural Carling Black Label Cup played at FNB Stadium.
