Goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune will on Monday, 13 February 2012 address his first long awaited press conference as the Captain of the Club.

Khune was appointed as the Captain back in October but due to an injury that coincided with his appointment his appearance in front of the media was held back to allow him to recover fully from the injury that sidelined him for over three months.

‘Spider Kid’ as Itumeleng Khune is affectionately known in football circles has joined an illustrious list of players to have captained the Glamour Boys; the late Ariel ‘Pro’ Khongoane, Johannes ‘Ryder’ Mofokeng, Neil ‘Codesa’ Tovey, Howard ‘The Rock’ Freeze, Wellington ‘Umntu Akalahlwa’ Manyathi, Doctor ‘16V’ Khumalo, Brian ‘Spiderman’ Baloyi and many others.

The press conference, the first at Chiefs Village in 2012 will also see Head Coach, Vladimir Vermezovic addressing the members of the media. Media Relations Officer, Luthando Zibeko has confirmed.
