The Glamour Boys have an opportunity to redeem themselves following the loss against Orlando Pirates at Nelson Mandela Stadium last Thursday.
“This time we must beat them. I am sitting here not even thinking about losing the game,” said Tshabalala affectionately known in football circles as “Ntshebe”.
“The players we have selected for Saturday are going to do the business. We have no doubt. We know that they are hungry following the defeat at Nelson Mandela Stadium last week,” said the visibly excited Ntshebe speaking to kaizerchiefs.com over the phone.
Pressed to comment if the Supporters will take the blame if any of the teams lose the game; the colourful character laughed uncontrollably and responded saying, “We are going for a win and losing is not an option.”
“If it does come to that maybe the supporters will have to take the blame. This time we are getting an opportunity to select the team and make one substitution.
Ntshebe also said the concept is going to help the fans to understand the importance of supporting the Coach, “The fans will have their chance on Saturday to select the team and make a change. It is important that when the season starts we rally behind the Coach and the players.
The Coach spends time with the players and hopefully this exercise will help us as supporters to stop calling for substitutions and always pointing fingers when the team loses the game.”
The likeable Supporter also famous for his dance during games also welcomed the 1 million prize money lined up for a participating and voting in the “be the coach” campaign.
Voting will close on Thursday and the teams will be announced at 19:00.
