Whilst I believe that the club has a serious issue with Shoes Mosheou on the subject of the weekend newspaper article as expressed and explained in our Press Release of Tuesday, 25 January 2005; I made a mistake of getting myself entangled in other issues when we were accused by Mr. Robert Marawa and some of the listeners for being liars. When the interviewer deviated from the issue at hand, I allowed him and by challenging the validity of a supporter's membership, in the process, lost focus of what we are saying in the Press Release.

I want all Chiefs fans and supporters, whether registered or not to know that they are our number one asset, we value them and infact the ones that are not registered are equally important in the sense that we need to have access to them also, to get to know them and possibly register them, too!

My apologies go to all peace loving Amakhosi who might have been offended by the discussion that changed the focus completely. I know I might have let you down. We will be following up with Metro FM and ask them to forward us those concerns which were written to their show so we can communicate with those fans as well.

The matter of fact is that issues are tabulated in our Press Release and because the case is up for the Disciplinary Committee hearing, I will not delve any more into the contents therein. For some reason there were serious ommissions on that show last night, not all important issues relating to this case were covered and without much dwelling on the contents of the Press Release, I was faced with a task of answering to many other accusations. Another serious ommission is the fact that before the player was advised about him being offloaded from the Sunday squad, he was called into a meeting of the coaches where the issue was discussed with him first.

Let me also state that at no stage do I lie to supporters or listeners on any issues where I am supposed to inform the public.

Shoes Mosheou will appear before the DC on Friday, the 4th February 2005 at 10H00 at the Chiefs Village.
