Defender, Tsepo Masilela has told kaizerchiefs.coms that he and his teammates are geared up for the Nedbank Cup Final taking place in Durban at Moses Mabhida Stadium this coming Saturday, 25 May 2013. Kickoff is at 15h00.
The flying leftback who has been called up to the Bafana Bafana squad by Coach, Gordon Igesund for the World Cup qualifiers has been rock solid for the Glamour Boys on the left side of defence.
His experience has been vital earning rave reviews from the media and supporters alike; “I will be playing in my first domestic final and I am excited about it. It has always been my dream growing up to play in such games. It is a very important game for the Club and we want to give a good account for ourselves.
Masilela said that the fact that they won the league will not have an impact in the coming cup final; “It will be a different ball game on Saturday. We are professionals and we just have to go out and do what is expected of us. He added that he has enjoyed each and every moment on the pitch in the gold and black; “It has been a wonderful experience for me winning a league title in my first season after coming back from Europe.
I would like to thank the Technical Team, my teammates, the supporters and each and every one for the support. My family too has been very supportive. It is my wish to win more cups with the Glamour Boys going forward,” added Masilela.
