Tough as Teak defender, Morgan Gould resumed full training with his teammates this week and Team Physio, Dave Milner is pleased with his progress.

Gould sustained an injury on 21 August on the eve of the mouth-watering PSL league fixture against Mamelodi Sundowns and was forced to miss the 2013 Orange Africa Cup of Nations.

“Morgan did well to work his way back from a bad injury. He was a professional from the beginning. We are all pleased that he has returned to full training. He trained with his teammates for the first time on Wednesday and did not complain of any pain,” said Milner.

The news of Morgan’s return will be a boost for Amakhosi ahead of the resuming of the 2012/13 PSL fixtures in February after the Christmas break and the Africa Cup of Nations.

Also in full training is towering defender, Eric Mathoho who was withdrawn from the Bafana Bafana preliminary squad for the Africa Cup of Nations due to a knee injury.

Gould and his teammates at the Village were all smiles seemingly enjoying being taken through their paces by Conditioning Coach, Joshua Smith.
