Gates open at 7h00 am and the first 25 000 supporters to get to the stadium will be able to get a free Vodacom Challenge skullcap, worth over R50, and also 10 000 foam cushions will be given away, courtesy of the Gauteng Province.
Its going to be a fun-filled final with loads of entertainment and the opportunity for two supporters to win two 1400 Nissan Bakkies.
“This weekend will be about South African pride and giving youngsters the opportunity to be exposed to international football. We are playing in the African Champions League sometime next year and this match will provide the youngsters with the required experience.
"We will give the supporters value for money on Saturday. This will be the toughest final than in the past and we will leave no stone unturned," said team manager Bobby Motaung.
“The team is ready and up to the challenge. This is going to be one of the toughest Vodacom Challenge finals ever,” he said.
Great entertainment has been lined up for the day with Pirates, Chiefs and Vodacom Choirs scheduled to provide some soul music. Crowd favourite Pitch Black Afro is also on the entertainment line-up along with Skwatta Kamp who will be singing the official Vodacom Challenge song “Uyeza Umoya”.
The battle of the DJs will feature DJ Fresh vs. DJ Ghanyani & DJ Monde vs. DJ Cleo.
First game kicks-off @ 12h30 for 3rd/4th Place & the final kicks-off @ 15h30 for 1st & 2nd place.
The winners will walk away with a R1million prize money, R500 000 2nd place, R300 000 3rd place and R200 000 for the 4th place.
The most prestigious off-season soccer tournament in Africa will come to an end tomorrow (Saturday) with the ultimate champions being crowned after 90 mins of battle.
