Matthew Rusike has expressed his delight to kaizerchiefs.com after he received a call up from Zimbabwe new coach, Klaus Deter Pagels ahead of international friendly against Botswana in Harare on Wednesday, 06 February 2013.

Rusike who scored his debut goal for the Glamour Boys against AmaZulu in December last year will be looking forward to continue with his Club form as he is set for a debut in the National Team.

“It is an honour to be called up to the National Team. I am looking forward to the game against Botswana - one of the rising countries in Africa at the moment. The game against Botswana is an important game in preparation for World Cup qualifiers,” said Rusike.

Defender, Lincoln ‘Harare’ Zvasiya also received a call up.
