The dispute between Matthew Rusike and Jomo Cosmos has been settled. Kaizer Chiefs can now confirm that Matthew is part of the team.

The Zimbabwean-born attacking midfielder who turned out for Jomo Cosmos last season started training with the Glamour Boys last month while there was a dispute between the player and his former club which was before the PSL DRC.

Kaizer Chiefs football manager, Bobby Motaung confirmed that the matter has now been settled following Dispute Resolution Chamber sitting early on Tuesday. Amakhosi are delighted that the player is now available to don the black and gold jersey. He has been training with the rest of the team and should be ready when called by the Technical Team to do duty for the team.

Rusike has been handed jersey no. 21 that was used by his fellow counterpart, Knowledge Musona who is now plying his trade in Europe. Jersey no. 21 has previously been used by equally gifted players like Johannes Phadime and the late Thabang ‘Chillies’ Lebese.
