Kaizer Chiefs Under-17 Coach Ryder Mofokeng, left for Potchefstroom in the North West Province to complete the second part of his Level 1 Coaching Certificate.

Ryder, currently deputizing for Rainer Dinkelacker as goalkeeper coach, while Rainer attends to some private issues in Germany, completed the first part of the course earlier this year.

The South African Football Association at Potchefstroom Universities’ High Performance Centre will host the course that commences on the 7th of September and ends on the 11th of September.

Attendees will be put through their paces by Coaches Simon Ngomane and Fran Hilton-Smith, the latter also being part of FIFA's FUTURO Coaching Course which she has conducted for the international body around the world.

Ryder and all the other coaches at the Kaizer Chiefs Academy have been selected and will be supported by the club to help them obtain their Professional Coaching License which could take up to two years to complete. This is another effort by Kaizer Chiefs to enhance the development programme.
