Spider has been training the whole week and has never complained about any pain. The only minor setback that he suffered was that he had a bit of tonsillitis on Tuesday prior to the Leopards game.
Matshitse injury scare
Defender Peter Matshitse will be out of action for an unspecified period of time after suffering a concussion in the league match against Leopards on Tuesday.
The former Moroka Swallows defender was knocked unconscious for about two minutes and injured his shoulder in the process. He was taken out on a spinal board and was replaced by David Kannemeyer on 71 minutes.
Good news is that midfielder Stanton Fredericks, who was on the bench against Leopards, has fully recovered and has been training with the rest of the players throughout the week.
