We would like to express our concern that all the relevant issues were taken into account surrounding our inability to participate in the Confederation Cup, which would have had a negative impact towards the smooth running of our league campaign.
What must be made clear is that our withdrawal was done in the interest of our domestic league and South African football at large. Had we not taken this decision, our league would have been compromised.
We do, however, commend Caf on the decision to ban the referee who was in charge of out match against Esperance of Tunisia. This decision further highlights that our complains were not illegitimate.
We would like to take the opportunity to thank the PSL for their support towards explaining our plight to Caf regard our withdrawal.
