Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfield maestro Stanton Fredericks capped off a brilliant season in style when he was presented with Amakhosi's Player of the Year award at the club's awards ceremony on Tuesday night.



The former Wits University player was the biggest winner of the night as he walked away with the Best Dressed Player award, in which he won a R7000 voucher sponsored by Damat & Tween, Players Player of the Year, which awarded him an Acer laptop worth R20 000, as well as a R70 000 cheque and a brand new Nissan X-trail valued at R250 000 for being voted Player of the Year.



Stigga, as the blond midfielder is affectionately known, will use the stylish vehicle for the duration of his reign as Amakhosi's Player of the Year.



Other nominees for the Player of the Year award were John "Shoes" Moshoeu as well as Brian Baloyi.



Another big winner of the night was David Radebe, who won a R10 000 cheque for being voted the Discovery Player of the Year as well as R50 000 for his Most Improved Player award, beating the likes Rodney Thobejane, Gerald Sibeko, David Kannemeyer and Tenashe Nengomashe, who were in contention for the award.



The 23-year-old former Free State Stars striker also took home a R10 000 voucher sponsored by Nike for finishing the season as the club's Top Goal Scorer.



The Goal of the Year award went to Kabamba Musasa, who won two return tickets to anywhere in Southern Africa sponsored by British Airways.



The coaching duo of Doctor Khuse and Donald "Ace" Khuse walked away with the Tribute Award, and the Achievement Award was handed to Chiefs former great and Bafana Bafana's longest serving captain Lucas Radebe, while the Contribution Award was given to Emy Casaletti-Page.
