For almost two weeks in succession, the unsuspecting Amakhosi supporters have been emotionally abused into thinking that their favourite club is about to shed some of its players in exchange of some.

For the record, Simphiwe Mkhonza and Louis Agyemang are still contracted to Kaizer Chiefs and are both an integral part of the Coach’s plans for the season. Secondly, Kaizer Chiefs has not made any attempt to secure Moses Spandeel from Celtic. It therefore raises concerns that such stories are gaining prominence and are entertained to create consternation amongst our supporters and the players in general.

The public must know that only Kaizer Chiefs will officially state and account for the movement of its players. Any statement or suggestion to the contrary is thus a fabrication and should be treated with contempt.
