Motaung who on Friday appealed to the supporters to demonstrate gold passion at the Soweto derby, has been delighted by the way the fans responded to the teams call.
“The whole country will agree with me when I say that the FNB Stadium was glittering on Saturday, if you were in space I am sure the glow from the FNB stadium would have been visible up there,” were the words from a smiling and beaming Chiefs team manager.
Motaung further added; “I have said it time and again that our supporters are our twelfth player and on Saturday they were in full song, and really helped us through what was a tense and tough game thank you 44 million times.”
Bobby has also pointed out that this coming Sunday’s Coca Cola Cup ¼ Final against Jomo Cosmos in Rustenburg will be another acid test for the team, as they face battle hardy opposition in Cosmos who will be out to dispossess Chiefs of their Coca Cola Cup crown. He has urged supporters to continue filling up the stadiums and demonstrate gold passion, as the team goes from strength to strength.
