The Kaizer Chiefs Marketing and Commercial department would like to thank all the supporters who arrived in time for the curtain raiser match between our Masters vs the media team.
Chiefs strongly believe that our objective of getting the supporters early to the stadium and buying tickets in advance was met. When the Masters took the field there was already over 10 000 supporters in the stands – this is a record considering that other teams battle to attract have that number for their league matches.
This was also a vote of confidence and Chiefs would extend this venture to all our home matches. We only hope that other teams can take note and invite their former stars tobe part of the game.
