Kaizer Chiefs in conjunction with their main sponsor Vodacom, hosted an activation at Botshabelo Mall, just outside Bloemfontein, with the gold and black turning out in numbers.



Marketing Director, Jessica Motaung, Corporate Communications Manager, Vina Maphosa players, Arthur Bartman, Jimmy Jambo and Jimmy Tau took pictures and mingled with the supporters.



The activation comes just under 48 hours before log leaders, Kaizer Chiefs square up with Bloemfontein Celtic at Free State Stadium for what promises to be a humdinger of a game.



The fans were entertained with music and there ware lot of give always courtesy of Kaizer Chiefs and Vodacom.



Fans walked away with cellphones, weboxes, signed posters and caps as Amakhosi made clear their intentions of taking over the City ahead of the game on Sunday.



Kaizer Chiefs Retail Store was in full operation with the home jersey one of the popular items for the supporters.



Chairperson of Botshabelo Supporters Branch, Ngwako Palo (46) commented; "This is long overdue here as we are the no. 1 branch in the province.



"People of Botshabelo love this team and that is why they have come out in numbers today.



"We are hoping to take this atmosphere to the game on Sunday and outnumber Celtics supporters. I would like to thank our Management, Vodacom for bringing this event in Botshabelo.



"We have more than 1000 registered members here and we are still growing. Our aim is to no. 1 in the country by the end of 2013," added Palo who has been a fan for the Club "from birth".



Jessica Motaung commented; "It has been an eventful day for us at the Club starting from Kroonstad.



We are now here in Botshabelo and we are thankful to Vodacom for partnering with us in taking the Club to the people.



"The message we are getting from the fans here is clear that they are behind the vision of the Executive Chairman (Kaizer Motaung), the Head Coach (Stuart Baxter) and the team to Reclaim the Glory in 2013," added Motaung.
