20h15 kick-off

Kaizer Chiefs will chase a fourth successive Absa Premiership win when they host the University of Pretoria on Monday.

The Amakhosi have racked up a third straight league victory when they beat Free State Stars 2-0 away from home in late November. The Soweto giants are unbeaten at home this season, with four wins and two draws from six matches.

Their next two league opponents are Golden Arrows (Thursday, 19th Dec at 19:00) and AmaZulu (Sunday, 22nd Dec at 15:00) both away at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.

The postponed Sundowns fixture has not been confirmed by the PSL yet. The Amakhosi go into TUKS placed second on the Absa Premiership log with 21 points from 11 matches.

Head Coach Stuart Baxter had expressed optimism ahead of a massive clash, "It is a massive challenge to get back to action after the ten days of mourning for the late Icon Nelson Mandela. We will see tomorrow if we have not lost momentum. We are prepared and we would like to remain in a decent position on the log."

About his players Baxter said, "We are happy to have Tsepo Masilela back from injury. Morgan Gould has completed his two match suspension and will be back in the squad. George Lebese is out with a swollen foot while Josta Dladla will be serving his last game of the two match suspension due to a red card he received during the Polokwane City victory on 27th November 2013."

In head-to-head stats, Chiefs and University of Pretoria have had just two previous league meetings. Both of those matches took place last season. Tuks took four points off the champions, drawing 1-1 away and winning 1-0 at home on the final day of the league campaign.

Tickets for the game are available at Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers at a cost of R40 for Adults and R10 for Scholars.
