Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to continue with the superb record they have over Free State Stars when the two sides square up at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 16 February 2013.
The two sides have met 26 times since the launch of Premier Soccer League back in 1996 with the Glamour Boys claiming a massive 16 wins as compared to just three for Free State Stars.
Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Friday morning, Kingston Nkhatha said the records do not matter in this encounter; “We are not focused on records but on getting maximum points as it is our first Home game for 2013.
“We have put our game against Mamelodi Sundowns behind us and we are now focusing on Free State Stars. The last time we met we created a lot of chances but did not take them and we will need to put matters into perspective this time around.
Nkhatha had a brief spell with Free State Stars before joining Black Leopards; “I still know quite a few guys in the team and made friends while I was there. We will have to forget about our friendship for 90 minutes,” said Nkhatha who came in as a substitute against Mamelodi Sundowns on Tuesday.
All the tickets for Kaizer Chiefs home games are available at the Computicket and Shoprite/Checkers nationwide. Tickets for the ABSA Premiership Fixture pitting Kaizer Chiefs against Free State Stars are sold for R40 and the game is scheduled for 20:15.
