The two sides have met 16 times in the league with the Glamour Boys winning five times since the 2003/2004 season.

Last season the Amakhosi managed a draw against Stars at home and away they came back from behind to beat Platinum Stars in a pulsating clash played at Royal Bafokeng Stadium early this year.

Stars on the other side have not beaten Chiefs since the second half of the 2006/07 season.

The Amakhosi go to the game minus newly appointed captain, Itumeleng Khune, defender Tlou Molekwane as both players are still nursing injuries. There are also doubts over Brent Lawler and Sthembiso Ngcobo who both sustained injuries last Sunday.

Bernard Parker, who missed the Telkom Knockout tie between the two sides last Sunday, is available for selection this weekend as the Glamour Boys look to consolidate their position in the Absa Premiership where they are second behind SuperSport United.

Tickets for the game are already on sale at Shoprite/Checkers and Computicket around the country.

Adults will pay R40 and juveniles R10.

Kickoff for the game is at 20:15.
