Kaizer Chiefs will be looking to consolidate their position on top of the Absa Premiership when they host Pretoria University at FNB Stadium on Saturday, 15 December 2012.
The Phefeni Glamour Boys, who were able to retain a three point lead following the 1-1 draw against Orlando Pirates last Saturday, have a superb home record so far this season with six victories and one draw in seven matches.
Stuart Baxter commented; “It is important to keep doing well at home and the players understand this. It is important that we keep the momentum when we welcome Tuks this weekend.
The Pretoria based outfit has impressed in the league despite ending their five games winless streak with a win against Chippa United last weekend. They are placed fifth in the Absa Premiership table.
“It will be a difficult game against a much organised side. They are very strong. Their Technical Team deserves credit for the amount of work they have put in bringing the team up and getting to win crucial games.
“The preparations for this game have gone well and everyone looked sharp in training. The challenge is getting the players obviously to refocus following the Soweto derby but I am sure we will be up to it,” added Baxter.
Kick off for the game is at 18h00. Tickets are on sale at Computicket including Shoprite and Checkers nationwide selling for R40 for adults.
