Kaizer Chiefs will be hoping to return back to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they visit Soweto neighbours, Moroka Swallows at Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday, 20 April 2013, kickoff is at 18h00.

The Glamour Boys drew their last two league games against KwaZulu/Natal based outfits, Maritzburg United and Golden Arrows respectively.

Despite the two draws, the Amakhosi are placed first in the Absa Premiership with 52 points, while Moroka Swallows who are wounded after losing against Chippa United on Wednesday are placed ninth with 32 points from 25 matches.

Stuart Baxter’s side had to get a late winner the last time the two sides met with a goal from a substitute, Lehlohonolo Majoro as Chiefs won 3-2.

“Every game for us is a crucial game since the start of the season. Moroka Swallows will be difficult playing at home and we are expecting a tough game,” said Stuart Baxter.

The Glamour Boys have a four point difference between themselves and second placed Platinum Stars but the Briton insisted that they are not looking over their shoulder.

“We are looking at winning our games. Our focus is on the game against Moroka Swallows and the job at hand, not at what other teams are doing. I am sure it is the same with the players.

“We cannot go to games thinking if we draw this is going to happen. It has been pleasing to see someone like Itumeleng Khune and everyone in the team fighting the way they have been doing for the badge. We are going to Swallows with a mentality to win the game.

Kaizer Chiefs could welcome Eric ‘Tower’ Mathoho who missed the trip to Golden Arrows and the Nedbank quarterfinal against Celtics; “He trained with the team on Wednesday and we are pleased with his progress. Matthew Rusike is also back training with the team. Jimmy Tau has been looking sharp in training.
