Siphiwe Tshabalala has warned that the Glamour Boys will bounce back stronger when the league program resumes mid February.

Shabba who occasionally captained Bafana Bafana in 2011 remains a key figure as the Glamour Boys hope to win the league since 2005.

Speaking to kaizerchiefs.com the Soweto born midfielder said; “We all know what the team is capable off in terms of winning trophies and we were not on our best in 2011 or in the first half of the season. Two trophies are gone but there is still the Nedbank Cup and the Absa Premiership title to play for.”

“In the league we have not been doing badly at all if you look at the difference between ourselves and the teams ahead of us.

We need to be consistent and finish the chances that we create.

If we can do that then we will achieve our objective to bring the title to Naturena.

Personally, it remains my ambition to win the league with Chiefs and we will be giving our best in the New Year to achieve this goal.

Shabba who has been selected to the Bafana Bafana squad that will be playing friendly games in January admitted that his scoring rate concerns him; “I have scored one goal in 15 games. This concerns me but at the same time I have made lot of assists this season.

There is always a room for improvement but I am satisfied with my contribution in the past couple of months,” added Tshabalala.
