Shabba has said that the team will have new goals next season and will not rest on their laurels having won a double in 2012/2013 season.
The stylish midfielder was speaking to kaizerchiefs.com in the open branded bus during the Trophy Parade on Tuesday.
“The Club always set long, medium term goals and short term goals for every season and those goals are set around winning. Next season there will be new targets aimed at continuing with the legacy of the Club to win trophies,” said Tshabalala who was winning his first title in the elite league since turning professional.
“We are enjoying the Tour as players as we are getting an opportunity to thank the fans and the other stakeholders that played an important role in our success this season.
“Watching the supporters singing following the bus in the streets of Joburg then later in Soweto was something special for all of us,” added Shabba.
Siphiwe Tshabalala played an important role in the team this season and he was once again inspirational for the Club during the Nedbank Cup final where he created a winner for Bernard Parker with a sublime pass.
