"The team has been doing well and we want to keep it up while at the same time we want to use the match to practice and perfect our tactics," states Gaxa ahead of the Sunday' Sparta Macufe Cup featuring Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic. The match will be bringing down the curtains of the Macufe Cultural Festival that started on the 3rd of October.
Chiefs' fullback continued, "Of course it's a festival and a part of a big events. Football wise it's going to be a good game for the fans. Chiefs vs Celtic is always a good game of football to watch. We have won the trophy equally and we will work hard to win one more this time."
The match is receiving attention from all quarters, Gaxa says, "Chiefs is always about winning. We play to win. Friendly matches are important. For the fans it's another match and for the team it's about practicing and perfecting our tactics."
Gaxa didn't take part during Chiefs' Last 16 TKO match against Maritzburg United due to suspension.
Gaxa says, "This match will give other players an opportunity to gain game time. If I'm selected to play, of course it will give me game time."
The match is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 12 October 2014. Kickoff at Free State Stadium is at 15:30.
