The Chiefs winger who was on target for South Africa during their opening game draw on Friday against Mexico has vowed to help Bafana bounce back from the disappointment of losing to Uruguay and in turn he wants to repay the South African fans for standing by Bafana Bafana.
Tshabalala said to kaizerchiefs.com about his mission to get Bafana over their Uruguayan nightmare and into the next round, “we not out yet” explained Tshabalala before continuing on to say “there is still a lot for us to play for we need to go all out and attack against France. We need to lift ourselves up and put this loss behind us and do whatever it will take to be successful in the next game”.
According to Tshabalala a positive outlook by South Africa as they head to their World Cup eliminator with France will allow them not to let the pressure of the occasion get to them, “we know what we need to do against France and we have to believe that we can go through to the next phase, we cannot count on anyone else getting us through to the next round we have to help ourselves progress by winning our last game in Bloemfontein next Tuesday”.
The dreadlocked winger who earned his 51st cap for South Africa against Uruguay would like nothing more than to see the South African public smile again, “we have been grateful to the public for their support and in the same way that they have stood behind us it is important for us to repay their dedication with a win in our final game on the 22nd June and keep South Africa in the World Cup as long as possible”.
