2004 Vodacom Challenge champions A.S Vita Club from the Democratic Republic of Congo, beaten on penalties by Chiefs in the first semifinal of the Vodacom Challenge first leg action in Mafikeng last Sunday, will face Zambian side Green Buffaloes beaten 1-0 by Pirates in the second semifinal in front of a Vodacom Challenge record attendance of 55 000 fans at the Mmabatho Stadium, in the playoff for third and fourth positions respectively (12h15 kickoff).
Vodacom Challenge Committee officials have called on fans that are not in possession of tickets for Sunday’s action not to make their way to the stadium, but to share in the Vodacom Challenge experience by cheering their favourite team from their homes via live television or radio coverage of the matches.
The first 8000 spectators to enter the Absa Stadium on Sunday, will each receive a Vodacom airtime voucher worth R29, courtesy of the sponsors, Vodacom.
The recently-launched economical brand of the ZCC ZOK (Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs) will also be giving away a Nissan 1400 bakkie to a lucky supporter who purchased a ZOK starter pack and activated the product before the Vodacom Challenge final.
ZOK starter packs will be on sale at R10 each at the stadium on match day.
