George ‘WhatsUp’ Lebese has urged his teammates to give their best in the last game of the year when AmaZulu visit FNB Stadium on Tuesday, 18 December 2012.
Kickoff has been billed for 19:30.
Lebese who has seen more game time this season under the tutelage of Stuart Baxter scored his first goal of the season against the University of Pretoria.
“I was delighted to score my first goal this season. I had a chat with Willard (Katsande) prior to the game and I remember telling him that I am going to score and I did,” said Lebese speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Tuesday morning.
“The first intention though was to win the game and we were all disappointed to play a draw at home. We will be doubling our efforts against AmaZulu.
“People talk about the game we played at the opening of the season but a lot has changed since then and we know AmaZulu will be firing from all cylinders. Past games matter less in football and we are very much aware of that.
“Our objective as the team is to win the game and give the supporters something to cheer about going into the peak of the festive season. I hope that the fans will come in numbers and take the Festive Vibe spirit to FNB Stadium for our last game of the year,” added Lebese.
