Head Coach, Vladimir ‘VV’ Vermezovic has urged his charges not to underestimate the Vodacom League team, Cape Town All Stars when the two sides square up in the last 32 of the Nedbank Cup.

The Glamour Boys are hoping to win the Nedbank Cup for the first time since it was launched back in 2007/2008 season.

“We cannot underestimate Cape Town All Stars and we are going to prepare thoroughly for them,” said the Serbian speaking to kaizerchiefs.com on Monday evening in Sandton, Johannesburg following the launch and draw for South Africa’s version of the FA Cup.

“We do not have information on them at this point in time but it is our objective to do much better in the competition than we have done in the past two seasons.

Chiefs lost against first division outfit FC Cape Town in 2010 and the Vodacom division outfit, Baroka FC last season; “That is water under the bridge for us. Our aim is to do well this season. I share these objectives with the players. We want to end the current season on a high note,” added Vermezovic.

The dates and venue for the game is yet to be decided by the Cup Committee.
