We will try and win the game at all costs - Yende

Mthokozisi Yende feels that the ‘break’ has been too long and they can’t wait to be back on the field of play on Saturday, 19 November 2012 when they welcome Santos at Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Kick off for the game is at 20:15.

The Glamour Boys played their last competitive game against Maritzburg United on November, 01 away in Port Elizabeth.

“We can’t wait to be back playing. The brake has been too long for us. The Technical Team though had a plan and we just continued working during the break.

Santos are always a tricky customer and Yende said is aware of the threat they pose; “They are a difficult side to play with especially when they place in their home base in Cape Town. This time they will be coming to us and we just have to play our normal game.

“The most important thing for us is to try and win the game at all costs. It is our aim to close the gap between us and current leaders, SuperSport United and for us to achieve this we need to keep on winning.

On his form the Tembisa midfielder said; “I am pleased with the way I have been playing lately. It was off course difficult for me to get some game time at the start of the season. I am the first to admit though that I need to continue working hard in training and if the Coach gives me an opportunity again I will grab it.

The Amakhosi will be coming up against Siyabulela Songwiqi but ‘Mdu’ as the player is affectionately known warned his teammates to focus on the whole team; “Kalusha (Siyabulela Songwiqi) is a good player and has been doing well since going to Santos on loan early this season. It would be suicidal for us to concentrate only on him. They have good players there who always go all out and it will not be different this coming Saturday.

Tickets for the game are already on sale at Shoprite/Checkers and Computicket outlets around the country.
