What a night!
We had Msawawa and Chippa of Backstage fame performing on the night. The duo rocked the crowd with a performance of their latest hits Jaiva and Bibo.
Our main sponsors Vodacom had a promotion on the night with registered supporters and those wearing Vodacom merchandise were rewarded with Vodacom hampers.
Big Brother Africa is a Khosi-4-life!
The housemates of BBA attended the game and were all cheering for the Glamour Boys. They were brought onto the field at half time and greeted the crowds accompanied by our own local Khosi-4-Life Kabelo from Channel O and Metro FM.
The housemates had a lot of fun and had the opportunity to mingle with the players. Zane the housemate from Malawi was very excited to meet his countryman and Amakhosi defender Patrick Mabedi and grabbed the opportunity to take pictures with the player.
Putco Mafani was also excited to see his favourite girl Abbey from SA.
The winner of BBUK Cameron and the runner-up also attended and were very impressed with the set up, they were really thankful for the opportunity given to them to attend a South African football match.
The whole event was a great success starting from the Vodacom curtain-raisers - Yebo Yes vs Yebo Gogo, which ended in a 3-3. And of course the main show stopper of the night – the 5-0 thumping of Black Leopards.
Thanks to all the supporters for coming through, there will be many more surprises lined up for our Khosi-4-life, especially if you are a registered supporter.
Don’t miss our next home game against Ajax on the 21st September 2003. We will be having a very entertaining curtain-raiser, so if you all want to see Doctor Khumalo in action again I suggest you get to the stadium early, but that's all for now! Will keep you all posted.
