After ending SuperSport United’s unbeaten run in their last game in Atteridgeville nine days ago, Amakhosi will face another unbeaten team in the league this afternoon when they take on Stellenbosch FC in the DStv Premiership. Stellies have won 4 and drawn 4 matches so far this season in the league.

Both teams are confident this afternoon afters hosts Amakhosi handed Matsatsantsa their first loss of the season at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on 24 October, while Stellies won their match against Marumo Gallants 1-0 last Wednesday.

This afternoon coach Stuart Baxter has decided to make two changes to the line-up by bringing in Cole Alexander who is back from injury. He will be replacing Anthony Akumu Agay in the middle of the park. Another change is in defence where Austin Dube will make way for Daniel Cardoso.

Coach Baxter will keep to his trusted 3-4-3- formation in today’s game.

Nigeria’s international goalkeeper Daniel Akpeyi will be in goals for Amakhosi.

Chiefs will have Cardoso on the left of defence, Mulomowandau Mathoho will be in the middle and Njabulo Ngcobo on the right of Amakhosi’s defence

In midfield, Njabulo Blom will be on the right, Hlanti on the left as wing-backs.  Cole will work with Phathutshedzo Ńange in Amakhosi’s midfield.

The attack is unchanged with last game’s two-goal scorer Bernard Parker on the left, Keagan Dolly who has provided three assists in the last two games is on the right and Khama Billiat will lead the attack.

Parker will wear the captain’s armband.

The refereeing team will be led by referee Thando Ndzanzeka. His first assistant referee is Assistance Tsokela and the second assistant is Oscar Tsotetsi. The fourth official is Cedric Muvhali.

The ninth DStv Premiership match of the 2020-21 season between the Phefeni Glamour Boys and Stellies will start at 15:30 at FNB Stadium in Nasrec. No spectators will be allowed in the stadium.
