That match, however, came at a cost: young star Mduduzi Shabalala - who provided the assist for Da Silva suffered a serious arm injury after a rough first-half tackle - requiring surgery and ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

Another setback from that clash is the suspension of Siphesihle Ndlovu, who picked up his fourth yellow card. As per league rules, he will miss one match, meaning Chiefs’ midfield will see at least two enforced changes when the coaches announce their team on Sunday.

On the log, Amakhosi remain in third place after amassing 48 points from 27 matches, while Sekhukhune are fifth with 42 points collected from the same number of games.
