The Glamour Boys played their first group stage match against Horoya on Tuesday in Johannesburg. Coach Gavin Hunt will make two changes when compared to that game by bringing in Njabulo Blom for Nkosingiphile Ngcobo and Lebogang Manyama coming on for Bernard Parker.
Chiefs will start with Itumeleng Khune in goal.
There are no changes in defence with Ramahlwe Mphahlele and Anthony Akumu Agay in the centre of Amakhosi’s defence. The versatile Reeve Frosler will be on the left and Siyabonga Ngezana on the right.
Willard Katsande will be partnered by Blom in midfield with support from Kearyn Baccus and Kearyn Baccus, who will also be linking up with the attackers.
The Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurković duo will be in attack.
The refereeing team is made up of referee Sadok Selmi, assisted by Khalil Hassani and Youssef Jammi. The fourth official is Mohamed Yousri Bouali. They all hail from Tunisia.
The match comminissioner is Omer Kouame Dehoule from Côte D’Ivoire
Amakhosis’s second CAF Champions League group stage match which will be against Wydad AC will kick off at 16:00 (18:00 in SA) at the 4 August Stadium in the Burkinabe capital. No spectators will be allowed in the stadium. The game will be available on the Kaizer Chiefs Facebook page, with regular updates of the match on Twitter @KaizerChiefs.
