Chiefs travel to face Stellenbosch on Saturday

Amakhosi will be on the road again this week when they travel down to the Western Cape to face Stellenbosch FC at Danie Craven Stadium on Saturday. This will be familiar territory for Chiefs as they had a mini mid-season training camp in Stellenbosch in January this year.

The Glamour Boys will go into the game with the intention of overturning the 0-1 loss suffered at FNB in November against Stellies when they meet this weekend.

Amakhosi will be bolstered by the return of Keagan Dolly, who missed the last game against SuperSport. The attacker was suspended after he collected four yellow cards.

However, Chiefs will miss captain Bernard Parker who picked up his fourth yellow card in that game on Saturday.

In line with Covid-19 protocols which dictate that stadiums should operate 50% capacity, only 8000 tickets of the 16000-seater stadium will be made available. Supporters will be required to produce their proof of vaccination or a negative Covid-19 test not older than 72 hours to access the venue on the day.

Early arrival is encouraged for the match that will kick off at 17:00 at Danie Craven Stadium.

Tickets are sold through www.webtickets.co.za and Pick ‘n Pay kiosks at R40 for open stand and R80 for the grandstand per ticket.

Amakhosi in the Western Cape are urged to get their tickets early and get behind the team in numbers.
